Long Island’s First Selfie Studio Pops Up in Ronkonkoma

The perfect spot to capture Instagrammable photos has arrived on Long Island.

PopUp Speakeasy Selfie Studio, located at 1860 Pond Road in Ronkonkoma, is dedicated to providing a unique photo experience.

Ahead of the game are creators Catherine Ovejas and Jose Rivera, who came up with this idea, and transformed their old storage space into a place for creativity and self-expression to explode.

For $25 an hour, guests can capture Insta-worthy photos using 14 themed backdrops, such as a classic ‘50s diner, as well as plenty of selfie lights.

The selfie studio also provides various props including a 100-year-old luggage worth $800, a repurposed Volkswagen bus, old records and much more.

Riveras and Ovejas, hope to expand this brand all over the world, starting with New York City or the Hamptons. The future is bright for this speakeasy selfie spot, with a lot of collaborations with local businesses, influencers, and photographers in store.
