Smithtown already has its new Smoothie King. Now it gets the party. The shop at 114 East Main Street is already open and blending, and on Saturday, October 17, it throws its official grand opening, with 20-ounce smoothies for $3.99 all day long.

The celebration is built for the whole family: a ribbon cutting, balloon entertainment and giveaways through the day, on top of the one-day price on every 20-ounce smoothie. It is the kind of Saturday morning stop that fits between soccer games and errands on Main Street.

Free smoothies for a year, if you are early

The headline giveaway is the Free Smoothies for a Year booklet, handed out with a purchase while supplies last. The booklet carries free smoothie offers redeemable with a qualifying purchase, and the store is clear that it is first come, first served, so the people lined up when the doors open have the best shot.

The shop will also be handing out its Crown Club Card, a punch card for regulars. Filling it in enters you for a chance to win a $150 Smoothie King gift card.

What Smoothie King pours

The chain's pitch is “purposeful” smoothies, built around what you want the drink to do: a post-workout blend, a quick breakfast for a busy morning, or a lighter afternoon pick-me-up. The menu also runs to smoothie bowls and small bites, and the Smithtown shop takes orders for pickup and delivery through the Smoothie King store page and app.

The release frames the store as a neighborhood spot for just about everyone in town: parents looking for a quick, nutritious option for the family, busy people who need a quick boost, seniors making healthier daily choices, and gym regulars looking for a post-workout smoothie.

If you go

Free Smoothies for a Year booklets are available while supplies last, and their offers require a qualifying purchase. Hours and offers can change, so check with the store before you go.
