The record-setting layout, unveiled May 6 at RPM Raceway's location on Daniel Street, measures 1,071.6 meters, or 3,515.7 feet, of track spread across two stories. The renovated space is now home to three interconnected tracks with more than 40 corners, high-speed straightaways, underpasses and hairpin turns built into a two-level design that sends drivers weaving both across the floor and up through the building itself.

Getting the record certified required more than a fast track. Official Guinness World Records adjudicator Andrew Glass measured and verified the circuit in a live ceremony at the Farmingdale location, confirming the title in front of a crowd that included racing fans, local officials and social media influencers drawn out for the milestone. The unveiling event paired the record announcement with Stenhouse Jr.'s ceremonial first lap, giving Long Island go-kart racers a professional stamp of approval before the doors even reopened to the public.

RPM Raceway has built its business on the idea that go-kart racing can be a legitimate night out rather than a kids' birthday party add-on, pairing its tracks with food, drinks and event space for parties and corporate outings. The Farmingdale location's transformation into a record-holding, two-story circuit pushes that pitch further, turning what was already one of the more elaborate indoor karting setups on Long Island into a genuine attraction with a world title attached to it.

For a region that already claims plenty of only-on-Long-Island distinctions, from the birthplace of duck farming to some of the busiest beaches on the East Coast, the world's longest indoor go-kart track is a new and specific kind of bragging right. It is also a reminder that record-chasing does not require an ocean, a mountain or a marathon distance. Sometimes it just requires an ambitious renovation, forty corners and a NASCAR driver willing to take the first lap.

The record-breaking track is now open to the public at RPM Raceway's Farmingdale location, giving drivers of varying skill levels a chance to run laps on a circuit that, at least for the moment, no other indoor track in the world can match.
