Rockville Centre's Little Town business district turns into a fall fairground this afternoon. The Rockville Centre Chamber of Commerce holds its Little Town Fall Festival on Saturday, October 24 from noon to 4 p.m. on North Long Beach Road between Seaman Avenue and Greystone Road.
The chamber has packed the four hours with Halloween-week activity: a corn maze set up in the middle of the business district, live music, fun crafts for kids, raffles, giveaways and store specials from the businesses along the stretch. Costumed visitors will find inflatable costume characters walking the festival, a Halloween scavenger hunt to work through, and a trunk-a-treat for trick-or-treaters, all a week before Halloween itself.
The Little Town district
Little Town is the chamber's name for the cluster of shops, restaurants and services along North Long Beach Road, a commercial strip that sits apart from the village's main downtown around Village and Sunrise avenues. The festival is built to pull the village to that stretch for an afternoon, with the road's own merchants supplying the specials and several local businesses sponsoring the event, among them School of Rock Rockville Centre and the bakery Polka Dot Pound Cake.
The timing gives families a reason to be out in costume on the last Saturday before Halloween, which falls next Saturday. For the chamber the festival caps a milestone year: the organization is marking 100 years of connecting commerce and community in Rockville Centre, a banner it has carried through its 2026 events.
