Holiday shopping on Long Island has a way of ending in the candle aisle. This year there is a better answer on Jericho Turnpike. Red Light Method Commack, the recovery and wellness studio that opened in August, now sells gift cards at its front desk, and one card works toward everything the studio offers: red light therapy, Power Plate, Pilates Reformer, far infrared sauna and 3D body scanning.
A Long Island holiday gift that covers everything
Red Light Method Commack gift cards are good for any service, package or membership at the studio, so whoever receives one can start with a single favorite or try a little of everything. The card itself reads "Gift of Wellness" with the studio's motto, "Get Lit. Get Fit."
They are sold in store only. Stop by the front desk at 6157 Jericho Turnpike during studio hours, tell the team how much you would like to give, and hand it over. From there the studio takes care of the rest, from booking to the first session, and the team walks every new guest through each space, so no experience is needed. The studio suggests them for holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, thank-yous, new parents, teachers and coaches, teammates, or just because.
For anyone in Commack, Dix Hills, Northport, East Northport, Kings Park, Smithtown, Elwood, Huntington or Hauppauge, the towns the studio lists as its service area, it is a gift that sits right on the way home. The studio puts the case simply on its own holiday gift guide: most people never book a reset for themselves, and a gift card is the nudge that gets them through the door.
What is inside Red Light Method Commack
The studio calls itself "a calm, restorative space in Commack for recovery, energy, and feeling like yourself again." Here is what a gift card can be spent on.
Red Light Therapy: the heart of the studio
Red Light Therapy is, in the studio's own words, "the heart of everything we do." You rest comfortably while a medical grade, FDA cleared red light system does the work. Red Light Method says it uses "one of the only FDA Cleared red light systems in the U.S.," a $40,000 system "far beyond anything you'll find at home," and notes that treatments like it typically cost $200 a session elsewhere, while at Red Light Method they are included in the membership. Members come to it to support muscle recovery, skin rejuvenation, and relief from inflammation and pain, along with better mood and sleep. Custom wrap zones are available for a specific area; just ask the team.
Power Plate whole body vibration
Power Plate is the signature companion to the light. You stand, hold a position, or move through simple exercises while the vibrating platform does the heavy lifting. It is designed to build strength and tone, improve balance and core stability, and support circulation, lymphatic drainage and faster recovery, all with minimal stress on your joints. Red Light Method says it was used in clinical trials alongside its light system, and a typical visit pairs 25 minutes of Red Light Therapy with 10 minutes on the Power Plate.
Pilates Reformer, guided on screen
The Pilates Reformer sessions are low impact strength and mobility work, led on a tablet at your reformer through classical Pilates. They build strength and flexibility and improve posture and alignment. Beginners start with Level 1, then move on to Level 2 or 3 for a challenge.

Far infrared sauna
The far infrared sauna is gentle, penetrating heat, free with membership, that members use before or after a session to unwind, ease sore muscles and support circulation and better sleep. The studio's advice for first timers: start with five minutes, build up gradually, and hydrate before, during and after.

STYKU 3D body scan
Progress is tracked with a complimentary STYKU 3D body scan, which shows how your body changes across the weeks and months, with no guesswork. The scans live in the Red Light Method app, alongside booking, rescheduling and membership management.
