The Madison Theatre at Molloy University is heading into a November that runs from a crowning to a cattle drive. The Rockville Centre venue, at 1000 Hempstead Avenue on the Molloy campus, has four productions on its calendar next month, and its December holiday slate is already posted behind them.

November 1: Miss Long Island is crowned

The month opens Sunday, November 1 at 3:30 p.m. with the 2027 Miss Long Island and Miss Long Island Teen Pageant. Contestants from across Nassau and Suffolk compete for the two titles, and the reigning titleholders, Miss Long Island 2026 Geanna Koulouris and Miss Long Island Teen 2026 Shyla Silva, take part in the afternoon before passing on their crowns.

November 20 to 22: Oklahoma!

The theater's fall musical is Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma!, running Friday, November 20 through Sunday, November 22, with an 8 p.m. opening night and a 3 p.m. Sunday matinee. The 1943 show follows cowboy Curly and farm girl Laurey through romance and rivalry as the Oklahoma Territory approaches statehood, and it carries some of the most recorded songs in American musical theater.

November 27: a saxophonist the day after Thanksgiving

On Friday, November 27 at 8 p.m., contemporary jazz saxophonist Vincent Ingala brings his band to the Madison stage. Ingala is a multi-instrumentalist who builds his sets on soul and funk grooves, and the Friday-after-Thanksgiving slot makes it an evening out for a weekend when much of Long Island has family in town.

November 28 and 29: the Magi, Irish-danced

The month closes with We Three Kings: The Irish Dance Christmas Sensation, Saturday, November 28 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, November 29 at 3 p.m. The show tells the story of the three Magi traveling west, set entirely to Irish dance, and puts a villain in their path in the form of a scheming Sugar Plum Fairy.

December is already on sale

Behind November sits the theater's holiday season. The Rockville Centre Guild for the Arts and Leggz Ltd Dance present Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker ballet December 4 through 6, and the theater's own Madison Theatre Christmas Celebration runs December 17 through 20.
