The Gold Coast International Film Festival has reached its final stretch. The 16th edition of the Great Neck based festival opened October 7 and runs through October 29, and eight screenings and events remain on the calendar across four venues in Great Neck, Port Washington and the Queens border at North Shore Towers.

The festival is produced by the Gold Coast Arts Center, the nonprofit arts school and gallery at 113 Middle Neck Road in Great Neck, and mixes international features, documentaries, shorts programs and special events each fall.
