Wantagh has a new place to pick up a burrito. Bang Bang Burritos, a fast-casual Mexican counter, has opened at 1906 Wantagh Avenue in Wantagh. The company lists it as its fourth location and its newest, joining shops in West Islip, Bay Shore and Manhasset.

The Wantagh store is open every day of the week from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., which covers a weekday lunch, an after-practice dinner and a late weekend bite on the same schedule.

What is on the menu

The menu at Bang Bang Burritos is built around burritos, tacos, bowls, salads and quesadillas, with nachos and desserts alongside, and the company says the food is made daily. A few items the brand features on its own site give a sense of the range:

  • Baja Cod Taco: crispy cod with sliced cabbage, pico de gallo and a Baja sauce.
  • The Classic Shrimp Burrito: grilled shrimp rolled with rice, shredded cheese, black beans, sour cream and guacamole.
