A Community Commitment to Literacy: Panel & Book Drive

The Melville Chamber of Commerce's NexGen Professionals group hosts a multi-generational literacy conversation and community book drive, in collaboration with The Book Fairies. An interactive panel with Eileen Minogue and Courtney Collins of The Book Fairies, author and literacy advocate JoEllen McCarthy, volunteer Linda Sotomayor and Eli Johnson of The Too Alive Tour, plus a special appearance by Miss Long Island 2026 Geanna Koulouris. Bring a new or gently used book to donate; children's, young adult and Spanish-language books are especially needed. Free and open to all, but space is limited and registration is required.
