Waterdrinker North Fork Garlic Festival

Long Island’s only festival built entirely around garlic, now in its 24th year and running both days of the weekend in Riverhead. Every vendor booth works garlic into something: infused olive oils, hot sauces, pickles, sausages, garlic bread competitions and a good deal of things that should not work and somehow do. It lands right at the front edge of North Fork harvest season, which makes it an easy anchor for a day of farm stands and tasting rooms.
