Panaghia of Island Park Greek Festival

Four days of loukoumades, spanakopita, souvlaki and pastries on the South Shore, with rides, games, live music and a beer and wine selection. Admission is free, which makes it one of the easier August nights out with a family in Nassau County. Bring cash and arrive hungry. Times vary by day, so check with the parish before heading over.
