Four days honoring the Amistad story and its Long Island ties. Wednesday Aug 26: opening ceremony at Culloden Point with traditional African music, white attire encouraged. Thursday Aug 27, 4 to 5:30 pm: community workshop at Montauk Library. Friday Aug 28, 6 to 8 pm: evening celebration at Montauk Playhouse. Saturday Aug 29, noon to 5 pm: film screening and panel at Montauk Library.
