Adventureland Reopens April 10
After being abruptly shut down along with the rest of the world due to COVID-19 last March, Long Island’s Adventureland is finally ready to reopen for friends and families to enjoy on April 10.
Although Adventureland’s arcade has been open since March 27, the amusement park’s rides will open April 10 following the implementation of a New York State plan for amusement park reopenings.
With reopenings come COVID-19 policy changes and precautions. Park capacity will be reduced, and as a result will be admissions only-- you must purchase a ticket to enter. Parents of children’s season pass-holders will be able to pick up a parent season pass in order to safely accompany them.
Adventureland will be posting if and when it hits capacity on social media each day, so park goers are encouraged to check it out before planning a visit. Ticket reservations must be booked in advance online.
Adventureland is excited to invite parents, children and everyone in between back to the park after a long year away. This season, it will be debuting its newest ride, the Sports Tower, and will hold events and character visits.
Adventureland’s website currently shows that it will be open on Saturdays and Sundays starting at 11:30 a.m. Check out the Adventureland Facebook page and website for updated information and ticket sales.
