The Salt & Sea is a Long Island company, focusing on original art and design creations. Designs are inspired by founder Gene Rogovitz’s love for the ocean and many years spent surfing locally and worldwide. Selling clothing, tapestries, art prints, patches, and much more, Gene Rogovitz creates all his pen and ink stylings from scratch.

The Salt & Sea creations are hanging all over local businesses throughout the Island. You many have seen his creations covering the walls of the Swell Taco locations or on the labeling of their to-go margaritas.
“The Salt & Sea reflects my creative freedom and ability to make art as abstract or straight forward as I would like,” said Rogovitz.
Themes for his designs include not only the beach culture, but nautical, sports, music, typographical, info-graphics, location-based, and surfing designs as well. The Salt & Sea captures a vintage feel through its prints from the utilization of screen printing, offset lithography, and giclee and digital.
