Wildplay Adventure Park at Jones Beach recently opened on April 16 for its third year at the esteemed state park.

Wildplay offers plenty of beachside fun, from ziplines to massive jungle gyms, all beside the water.

Wildplay at Jones Beach is the brand’s second U.S. location after its Voorheesville location in Albany County. Wildplay is a Canadian-owned outdoor recreation chain that has become popular for its ability to implement fun, well-designed parks in a variety of different areas.

Its Jones Beach location hold much of the same as the other Wildplay locations. Obstacle climbing is this location’s mainstay, with many beachgoers each year braving the course. A key feature for this location is its use of its beachside location. Its zipline is about 700 feet, and takes riders along the fine views of the beach. There are also options for side-by-side ziplining with friends and family.

Safety is key for Wildplay. No matter the activity, helmets and properly secured equipment will be necessary to take part. Different activities are reserved for different age groups as well, and certain activities involve more physical requirements than others.

Wildplay at Jones Beach will be open from Friday through Sunday until May 21, when it will then switch to a seven days a week schedule. Private bookings for individuals or groups can be scheduled. Visit their website for more information.
