The Nutty Irishman

The Nutty Irishman is a popular spot on Farmingdale’s main street, full of a variety of events that locals and Long Island residents from all over have been taking part in for years now. Between their live music venue and stacked bar, including 26 beers on tap and a variety of inventive cocktails, a little something for everyone can be found here. They are also known for some great pub fare, including a unique mac and cheese bar for mixing and matching your favorite ingredients.

 

Croxley Ale House

Croxley Ale House of Farmingdale is one of four New York locations for the establishment, boasting great eats as well as an extensive list of cocktails and beers. Notably, Croxley Ale House features not only ciders and seasonal beers, but beer right from Long Island. Popular specialty cocktails include the Whiskey Smash and Irish Rosemary Lemonade. For those adventurous drinkers out there, try their $12 Fire & Light, a combination of light beer and Fireball Whiskey.

 

Dark Horse Tavern

Library Café

Library Café, built out of a historic Farmingdale library, is a unique place featuring great eats as well as a perfect assortment of beers, specialty cocktails, and wines.
