The Ramen Shops of Long Island 🍜

Ramen is a traditional Japanese dish loved by many. The fan-favorite dish can be found at a select few spots on Long Island. We’ve listed just a handful of them below.

Slurp Ramen, Port Jefferson

Located in Port Jefferson Village, Slurp Ramen is serving Japanese-style ramen right here on Long Island. The shop’s origins come from a lack of awareness and understanding about ramen outside the well-known instant ramen option.

The fast-casual experience boasts a unique menu of Japanese items. Just order at the counter, grab a table number from the cashier, and your order will be brought out to you.

Ramen options include the Slurp Classic Ramen, Slurp Smooth Ramen, Slurp Spicy Ramen, and many more, including multiple vegan options and customizable options. Rice bowls include the Hawaiian BBQ Bowl, TOFU Hawaiian BBQ Bowl, Kara-Agé Fried Chicken Bowl, Veggie Curry Rice Bowl, and many more.

Try out this ramen shop at 109 West Broadway in Port Jefferson on Sunday and Tuesday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The restaurant is closed on Mondays.

O.G. Ramen, Babylon Village

Having opened in Babylon Village just a few months ago, O.G. Ramen has managed to take the wildly popular traditional Japanese dish, as well as other classic Japanese dishes, and bring them to life with modern, health-inspired twists. With options like their use of coconut aminos, filtered water, Himalayan salt, O.G. Ramen aims to offer its diners a refreshing take on classic Japanese cuisine.

“RAMEN FOR EVERYONE is our slogan because we created dishes that cater to everyone, regardless of what their dietary preferences or restrictions are. So whether you’re a carnivore, vegan, pescatarian, gluten intolerant, or just avoiding soy... we have something for you here at O.G. RAMEN, said O.G. Ramen, posted to their website.

Try ramen options like The Pescatarian, The Vegan, The Ramen Salad, The Original, and The Classic, among other side dishes and rice bowls.

The restaurant, located at 14a Railroad Ave is open daily from 12 p.m. to 8:45 p.m., with pickup and delivery options available through GrubHub and DoorDash.

Ronin Ramen, Patchogue

Having just opened in June, Ronin Ramen brings a refined ramen option to Patchogue.

The Ronin Ramen menu boasts a fine assortment of ramen options, such as the Pork Tonkotsu Chicken Shio, and Mushroom which can be crafted with miso or made spicy. The shop also offers a variety of appetizers, such as chicken gyoza, spicy edamame, miso butter broiled oysters, and more.

Pair your ramen experience with anything from their extensive drink menu, which includes a selection of sake, beer, wine, and craft cocktails, such as dirty sake martini and a sake old-fashioned.
