Sullivan’s Quay

Sullivan’s Quay is a unique dining and bar experience located on Port Washington Boulevard. Named for a historical wharf in County Cork, Ireland, the restaurant and bar are decorated with murals from the real area of Sullivan’s Quay.

The bar at Sullivan’s Quay is meant for sit-down experiences and caters to lovers of wine and beer with two extensive menus. However, specialty cocktails and martinis are also a part of the experience. Something unique to try, The Sullivans Quay Boulevardier, utilizes Jameson, sweet vermouth, Campari, and lavender bitters.

Louie’s Grille and Liquors

Louie’s Grille and Liquors is a well-known Port Washington hot spot. Having been established in 1905, they have grown a following throughout Long Island for not only their in-restaurant offerings but their extensive bar options as well.

The bar menu at Louie’s is concise, with a little something for any taste. As for wine, white, merlots, pinot noir, and more fill the menu. New York draft beers, imported bottles, and specialty cocktails also make for a great bar experience at a good price.

Finn MacCools

Finn MacCools, which can be found on Port Washington’s Main Street, is considered one of the village’s oldest restaurants. Owned and operated throughout the years by the same management, the spot has hosted patrons from all over, including notable guests from throughout the state and country.

Complete with elegant sit-down decor, Finn MacCools makes for a great night out. The drinks menu is boundless with draft beers and bottles, wines, and of course a bounty of cocktails. Many will be familiar with the drink options available, but there are certainly unique house specialties like Finns Bourbon Cocktail and the vodka-based Fountain of Youth.

La Motta’s Dockside Restaurant

La Motta’s is a seasonal waterfront restaurant and bar that has been serving the Port Washington area for over two decades. With a view of the Manhasset bay, this outdoor spot is perfect for taking in the view with a meal or even just a drink. They are also known for their dock and dine service.

Served at La Motta’s alongside its extensive menu are beers on tap, cocktails, and other drinks that can be enjoyed in the refreshing dockside scenery.

Waterzooi

Waterzooi is a popular Belgian Bistro, considered one of Long Island’s only such restaurants. With two locations, one in Garden City, and the other in Port Washington, the popular spot has been serving unique dishes and drinks to Port Washington for a relatively short amount of time but is quickly becoming a local favorite.

Served at Waterzooi’s Port Washington location are cocktails, martinis, a vast amount of draft beers, and of course wine. Whether a patron wants to sit back with some drinks or have a full dining experience, there is much to be found by way of unique tastes. Specialty brewed beers, like the strong Waterzooi Gran Cru, are among some of the tastes found nowhere else.
