The newest member of the Great South Bay, Shoreline Trading Company, has kicked off its first summer season in the water. The collaborative effort between Fire Island Ferries and Coastal Kitchen & Daiquiri Bar in Bay Shore aims to provide cocktail cruises on the bay with the Running Wild, its 1920s-style 52’ motor cruising yacht.

The collaboration between Coastal Kitchen and Fire Island Ferries on this new endeavor, says Shoreline Trading and Coastal Kitchen co-owner, Anthony Tartaglia, has been a breeze.

“It’s been great. It’s a 50/50 collaboration, and they run anything coast guard related and everything to do with the actual boat and operating the boat. We run everything that’s food and beverage like the cocktails, menus, and things like that,” he said.

On June 30, Shoreline invited guests to a special kickoff event to show off the Running Wild in its element. The boat, which holds up to 46 people with a fully stocked bar, restroom, and staff, comfortably accommodated guests as it made its route through the bay, coasting under the Fire Island Inlet Bridge and stopping for a view of the famed Fire Island Lighthouse. A variety of beverages including specialty drinks like Zippy Coolers, a Margarita, a Blue Hawaiian, and other options were offered alongside snacking platters. The stunning views of the bay were accompanied by a playlist to match.

“We had a great time with all the influencers,” Tartaglia said. “It was fun to have some people come on board and take pictures and have fun and give us some feedback about the event.”

Shoreline Trading Company has since been actively booking cruises for all to enjoy, with the option to book a private charter or join one of Shoreline’s cruises.

Private charter cruises can be customized to accommodate your special event or occasion, with options for Daytime, Nighttime, Sunset, Brunch, and Bubbles, and Oyster Farm Tour cruises, all of which run for two hours. Those who book have the option to choose their booze and snacks from a specialized menu. Private charter rates and menu options can be found here.

Shoreline also offers two different cruise options. Choose the 10 a.m. Brunch on the Bay cruise on Sundays through the summer season for bottomless Mimosas and Bloody Marys while snacking on gourmet designer donuts from North Fork Donut Company and other delicious light bites. The Friday Happy Hour Cruise sets sail at 5:30 p.m. and offers an opportunity to enjoy summer with a picturesque backdrop of the Great South Bay with light snacks and a cash bar. You can reserve your spot for either cruise here.

With windows throughout the cabin, you will be able to take in a 360-degree view of all the beauty the Great South Bay has to offer no matter the cruise you choose while relaxing onboard Shoreline’s luxury cruising yacht. All trips depart from and return to the Bay Shore Marina town ferry dock at the end of South Clinton Avenue. Book a ride with Shoreline Trading Company on their website now!
