Great Long Island Sports Bars to Watch the Game At ⚾️🍺

There is no shortage of good spots to watch your favorite sports team and enjoy a drink and some bar food across Long Island. Below we’ve listed just a few spots to check out for the next big game.

 

Changing Times ~ Farmingdale, East Northport, Bay Shore

With locations in Farmingdale, East Northport and Bay Shore, Changing Times has a spot for anyone looking to relax and watch their favorite team. Stop by and check out their list of classic bar food starters, including Buffalo Cauliflower, Onion Rings, Homemade Jalapeno Poppers, and much more, including a Poo Poo Platter where you can sample a selection. The menu boasts a series of salads, sandwiches, tacos, fajitas, burritos, specialty burgers, and more.  

The sports bar offers a plethora of menus featuring special deals, like their Taco Tuesdays, Wine Down Wednesdays and Saturdays, Mexi Mondays, Pizza Nights, and much more. It also offers brunch, with a separate menu titled “Liquid Brunch” for all of the specialty cocktails, frozen drinks, and bottomless options. Menus and special vary.

The Greene Turtle Sports Bar, Grille & Family Restaurant ~ Smithtown & East Meadow

With multiple locations across the East Coast, The Greene Turtle finds its Long Island homes in Smithtown and East Meadow. 

The sports bar boasts a series of shareable menu items like Kanye Fries and World Famous Crab Dip,  as well as tacos, burgers, specialty sandwiches, soups and salads, baskets and bowls, and much more. Its drink menu includes items like the Boozy Cherry Limeade, Lavender Cosmo, Watermelon Mule, Strawberry Mojito, and much more.

If you’d rather take your food home to watch the game, you can use the bar’s online ordering option.

 

Momo’s Sports Bar & Grill ~ Holbrook & Bayport

Located in Holbrook and Bayport, Momo’s Sports Bar & Grill serves up a variety of food and drink to pair with your game watching experience. 

The Momo’s menu boasts a variety of bar food like wraps and burgers, appetizers, a list of “Fan Favorite Entrees” including the Dorito Chicken Fajita Crunchwrap, Sizzling Steak, and Balsamic Chicken, and a menu of “Momo’s Famous Wings” on or off the bone with flavors like Thai Chili, Habanero Chipotle, Garlic Parmesan and more. 

For drinks, you can expect options such as the $8 pitcher of Miller Lite daily, and a variety of specialty cocktails and beer. 

 

Phil’s Restaurant ~ Wading River

Located in Wading River, Phil’s Restaurant provides a great environment for enjoying food, drinks, and the game. With an assortment of specialty drinks, bar foods, and a special deals like Prime Rib Day on Thursdays, you can visit Phil’s to complete your gamewatching experience. 

Menu items include appetizers like Buffalo Wings, Chicken Skewers and a variety of clam dishes, salads, sandwiches and wraps like The Po Boy, Fried Flounder and Reuben, burgers and steaks, and entrees like fajitas, ribs, and more. Pair your meal with anything from Phil’s drink menu, including seasonal cocktails like the Mixed Berry Martini, Rasperita, Cucumber Smash, and more. You can also find a varied list of wine and draft and bottled beer to choose from. 

The restaurant is open from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. daily, and the bar is open seven days a week. Join Phil’s for happy hour Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the beer bar room for beer, drink, wine and appetizer specials. 

 

Canz Bar and Grill ~ Westbury

Canz Bar and Grill of Westbury serves up food, drinks, and plenty of specials to go with your game-watching experience. Check out their menu, which includes “Starterz” like Breaded Mac & Cheese Bites, Fried Picklez, and Buffalo Chicken Fried Ravioliz, “Sandwichez and Wrapz” like the Avocado Veggie Wrap, BLT and BBQ Pulled Pork, and a variety of homemade tacos, burgers, sides, and more. 

Pair it with a beverage from their drink menu such as the Canz Cooler, Mojito, Rum Punch, and more, or a frozen drink like the Tropical Lemonade, Rocket Fuel, and more.

Stop by between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. daily for happy hour deals, like $3 Tecate Can, Jose Cuervo Shot and Pretzel Bitez, $4 House Cocktails, Fireball, glasses of wine and quesadillas, and $5 Patron and Jameson, Boneless Wingz Mac'n'Cheese Bitez and Loaded Friez. You can also visit their “Kegz & Eggz” brunch menu all day every day. Mimosa and Bloody Mary Madness are only available on Saturdays and Sundays.
