Farmers' Markets to Visit this Summer 🌽

With so many farmers’ markets popping up across the Island this summer season, it’s hard to choose which to visit first. Below, we’ve compiled a list of just a few of the markets Long Island has to offer.

Long Beach Farmers’ Market, Long Beach

The Long Beach Farmers’ Market kicked off for the season on Saturday, May 29 at Kennedy Plaza at 1 W Chester St.

A plethora of certified organic fruits and vegetables, herbs, and greens are available alongside items like juices, cheese, milk, beer, fresh pasta, pickles, smoked pork, soaps and preserves. Shellfish and regional fish, baked goods, cakes and cookies will also be present at the market, with vegan and gluten free treats available as well.

The market will run until late fall. You can plan your visit for any Saturday between May 29 and November 20 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., aside from Oct. 9 when the Fall Festival takes place. You can also make a trip to the market every Wednesday between June 2 and November 20 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
