Long Island Farm Brewery lives up to its name from the moment you step onto the property. Housed in a former potato barn in the historic farming area of Manorville, the building and surrounding land is reminiscent of the Island’s deep agricultural history.

The brewers themselves are fifth-generation farmers according to their website, aiming to create a “true farm brewery experience.” The property is a staggering 80-acres, containing farmland that will be used to grow their hops. For their grand opening, LIFB has nine beers on tap, as well as local cider and wine from the Long Island-based Bridge Lane Wine.

As part of their grand opening, throughout the week local food trucks and live music were all present at the well-trafficked event. The celebration saw countless patrons take in the one-of-a-kind scenery and partake in the brewery’s unique beer.

The brewery offers family-friendly fun as well, with farm life built directly into the experience. They are located beside the prominent Waterdrinker Family Farm, a destination that hosts year-round experiences for families from farm animals to festivals, and other activities for children and adults alike.

Long Island Farm Brewery can be found in Manorville at 663 Wading River Road. Their website contains plenty more information, including their hours and policies, as well as an established merchandise shop.
