Founder Bob Rodriquez opened the brewery after spending seven years brewing at home, and has since earned a reputation among the local homebrew clubs and beer scene as an expert brewer, winning 34 awards decided by national competitions.

Most recently, Po’Boy Brewery won the titles of Best Beer Selection on Long Island, Best Bar on Long Island, and Best Craft Beer Brewery On Long Island for the second year in a row by Best of Long Island.

“Bob's intimate knowledge of brewing and his drive to produce excellent beers will ensure that Po'boy Brewery becomes a fixture of the L.I. community life,” the brewery attests on its website.

It lives up to its reputation with a plethora of beers and ciders to choose from. Items like Haze-Ta La Vista, Hazy! Pale Ale, EyePA of the Tiger IPA, Sun of A Peach Cider, and Black Is the New Berry Hard Seltzer are just a few of the beverages that adorn the Po’Boy Brewery menu. Its Sour Patch section of the menu is available on Fridays and Saturdays from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and offers a handful of sour options, such as Once Upon a Sour Dream.

Each menu item comes with a detailed description to help you choose the right drink for your taste. Beverages are available to enjoy both at the brewery and to-go. If you wish to try a few different drinks, flights are offered as well, including a full tasting.

If you’re looking for a quick bite to go with your drink, the brewery offers nachos, soft pretzels and pizza on its food menu. For hours, a  full drink menu, and more information, visit the Po’Boy Brewery website.
