Harmony Cafe in Patchogue Launches Fundraising Raffle

Patchogue-based nonprofit Harmony Cafe, has started a raffle fundraiser with the goal of raising $5000.

Potential prizes vary, including prizes valued at over $100, as well as a variety of gift certificates.

Harmony Cafe was founded in 2016 by Rosemary McCarthy, a Patchogue resident. The organization's mission is to bring healthier food options and wellness education to underserved people. Harmony Cafe uses a pay-what-you-can donation model and offers delicious, healthy foods as part of their bustling, judgment-free meal events.

Funds raised by their raffle will go towards their New Wellness Education Program, meant to further their mission by providing for low-income parents through healthy food education, cooking classes, and group support. This new 12-week program is set to start in September of 2021.
