Port Washington brings back Drive-In Movies for the Summer

Port Washington has brought back its drive-in movies as of this month.

Showings will take place at North Hempstead Town Beach Park throughout the summer, with different movies playing each weekend. 

Upcoming showings include the following:

  • Saturday, May 22, at 8:30 p.m. – "Wonder Woman 1984"

  • Saturday, June 12, at 9 p.m. – "The Karate Kid"

  • Sunday, June 27, at 9 p.m. – "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle"

  • Saturday, July 17, at 9 p.m. – "The Greatest Showman"

  • Sunday, Aug. 1, at 9 p.m. – "The Boss Baby"

  • Saturday, Aug. 14, at 8:30 p.m. – "Monsters Inc."

  • Sunday, Aug. 29, at 8:30 p.m. – "Up"

The Martin “Bunky” Reid Park in “Movie on the Lawn” location in Westbury will also do a showing of "Black Panther" on June 11 at 9 p.m.

The screenings are free, but a canned food donation is recommended. Movie goers must show proof of residence for admittance to showings. For more information, visit the Town of North Hempstead Facebook page
