Anchor Down Seafood Bar & Grill of Merrick Voted Best LI Seafood Restaurant 2021

For the second year in a row, Anchor Down Seafood Bar & Grill has been voted Best Long Island Seafood Restaurant by Best of L.I., just in time for the warm weather.

The restaurant, located at 1960 Bayberry Ave. in Merrick, has been serving up a variety of fresh seafood dishes since 2014. Some of the highlights of its menu include its Lobster Bisque, Lobster Pot Pie, Stuffed Montauk Fluke, and Sesame Crusted Ahi Tuna, among a large list of other options.

For those who tag along to Anchor Down that don’t prefer seafood, the restaurant offers a number of non-fish choices like BBQ Organic Half Chicken, Stuffed Rostelli Porkchop, and the Anchor Down Burger.

To see what all the rave is about, check out the Anchor Down website and visit Tuesday to Friday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. The restaurant is closed on Mondays.
