Whether for the drink deals or exclusive menu items, most people have their favorite happy hour spots picked out and memorized.

It is nearly impossible to list all of the great happy hour deals across Long Island, let alone in one county, however, we have compiled a list of 10 of some of the most notable within Suffolk County.

1. Husk & Vine: Husk and Vine Kitchen & Cocktails in St. James is a popular spot with a great menu that changes weekly as well as a consistent happy hour.

At Husk and Vine, happy hours are seven days a week, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. While exact prices may vary, Husk and Vine has offered bill-based happy hours that can slash as much as 50% off of the price of your evening’s liquor.

2. Verde Kitchen & Cocktails: Verde Kitchen & Cocktails is a well-known Mexican restaurant in Bay Shore. Notably, the restaurant contains a live greenhouse where dozens of edible plants and vegetables are grown. With an authentic-inspired menu and delicious drinks, ranging from sangria to beer to margaritas, the restaurant has earned itself a place as a Long Island favorite.

Their happy hours are only on weekdays, running from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. During happy hours, their signature Verde margaritas are $6, while other flavored margaritas are $7. Prices also change across the board, with $2 taken off of beer and wine, and 25% off for their tacos and quesadillas.

3. Voodoo Crab: Voodoo Crab is a local cajun and creole restaurant chain with three locations all on Long Island. Voodoo Crab of Centereach celebrated their grand opening in October of 2020, bringing fine cajun cuisine to the hamlet.

Happy hours are between 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday. On Sunday, happy hours are from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. As part of their happy hour menu, Voodoo Crab has plenty of $3 beers, low-priced cocktails, and offers $5 red or white wine.

4. The Brixton: The Brixton in Babylon Village specializes in cocktails as well as unique and delicious pub fare. Well-decorated and full of charm, this Babylon-based bar and eatery is a local favorite, having opened its doors in 2017.

The Brixton has some great happy hour deals worth taking advantage of. Their happy hour runs from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesday through Friday. Of course, alongside authentic food, Dos MexiCuban Cantina has plenty of options by way of drinks. Their menu includes Cuban and Mexican-themed margaritas and hand-crafted cocktails.

Their happy hour takes place every day besides Saturday, running from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m., although on Fridays happy hours end at 7 p.m. Dos MexiCuban Cantina’s happy hour deals vary for special events. Draft beers, house margaritas, as well as their wine are all typically brought down in price.
