Oyster Bay Summer Recreation Program is Now Offering Full-Day Sessions

The Town of Oyster Bay has been running its summer recreation program for 56 seasons now.

Meant for children ages 4-12, the program is hosted at one of six community parks. New measures have allowed the program to include full-day sessions, giving parents much needed flexible options for their children.

Unlike other programs, the full day camp sessions will only be taking place at two locations: Syosset-Woodbury Community Park or Marjorie R. Post Community Park in Massapequa.

These full day programs will also include special activities. There are optional day trips, supervised lunches, and even swimming available. Both the full day camp as well as the traditional program has daily sports, arts & crafts, and other fun things for kids to do.

The registration deadline for the camp is Friday, June 11, 2021. The activities will last from July 6 to August 13. Unlike the traditional camp options, full day sessions will start at 9 a.m. and last until 3:30 p.m.

Visit the Town of Oyster Bay’s website to sign up your children for their famed summer recreation program.
