After just over a year without physical visitors, the Westhampton Free Library will be welcoming book lovers in-person again starting Monday, May 10.
Since the pandemic hit, the library has offered curbside pickup, scheduled browsing appointments, and digital programs, all of which they have happily provided in the thousands. Now, the library is excited to allow patrons in to browse without an appointment.
Despite this change, the Westhampton Free Library will continue operating in a COVID-conscious manner to ensure the safety of all its visitors. Mask-wearing, temperature-checking and social distancing will be strictly enforced, and the library will keep a contact tracing log of all those who stop by. For the time being, all of the library’s programs will remain virtual.
Beginning May 10, you can visit the Westhampton Free Library Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, visit the library’s website.
