Barnshed Brewery Brings Great Beer to Hicksville Residents for Four Years

Plenty of in-house beers are on tap, with notable, popular options being their Barn Dunkle and 135 Pale Ale. However, it should be noted that the nature of this small brewery allows them to change up their beers often, typically depending on the season.

The brewery got its start off of a Kickstarter campaign that launched in 2016. It managed to achieve over 120 backers from all over New York and even some from abroad. Thanks to contributions amounting to over $16,000, owner Bryan Murphy’s passion for homebrewing had finally expanded into a larger operation.

Typically, there are around a dozen beers on tap, and plenty of variety between them. Barnshed is always experimenting with their options. Seasonal beers, such as the recent return of their Bethpage Blonde, will continue throughout the year to match the season.

Since its official opening, Barnshed Brewery has become a popular destination for quality, unique beers. They also host plenty of special events. Trivia nights, a recent four-year anniversary celebration, and more are regularly announced.
